"QuickBooks has stopped working" on the second user
Multi-user mode depends on the Database Server Manager, file permissions, and a network that does not drop packets. Any one of them off and the second workstation gets the error, the first one keeps going, and the bookkeeper blames the software.
The company file is slow, or it was fast last month
A .QBW file grows, the transaction log grows with it, and a server nobody has looked at since the install starts choking. Verify/Rebuild, condensing, and a server that actually has the resources fix this. Reinstalling QuickBooks does not.
An update ran at 2 a.m. and payroll would not open
Automatic updates on a shared server are a coin flip. We stage updates, take a verified backup first, and run them on a schedule your accountant knows about. Not during the last week of the quarter.
"We have a backup." Has anyone ever restored it?
A QuickBooks backup file that has never been opened on another machine is a hope, not a backup. We test restores, keep an isolated copy, and can tell you exactly which day you would roll back to.

Staged, backed-up first, on a calendar. Enterprise, Premier, Pro, and Accountant editions. Year-version upgrades handled end to end, including reissuing the license on the new server.
Company-file health
Scheduled Verify and Rebuild, size and fragmentation watching, condensing when it is time, and repair when a file corrupts. We keep the file open and the books closing.
Backups you can actually restore from
QuickBooks backups plus image-level server backups, an isolated copy, and quarterly test restores. Plain-English recovery time you can quote to your accountant.
Hosting, if a server in the closet is the wrong answer
A hosted Windows desktop or server we manage, so your bookkeeper, your CPA, and the owner all open the same file from wherever they are.
Migrations and clean-ups

Generic monitoring does not know what QuickBooks is. So we wrote monitoring that does.
Cadence is a small agent that sits on the QuickBooks server and reports to a dashboard we watch. It catches the failures that turn into "QuickBooks is down" calls hours before the bookkeeper does. It runs on every QuickBooks server we manage, and it is available on its own for accounting firms and businesses that keep their own server.

QuickBooks Desktop questions we hear
Do you support QuickBooks Enterprise?
Yes. Enterprise, Premier, Pro, and Accountant editions, current and prior year versions, in single-user and multi-user mode, on-premises or hosted.
Intuit keeps pushing us to QuickBooks Online. Do we have to move?
No. Desktop is still fully supported for existing users, and for many Alaska businesses (job costing, inventory, multiple companies, offline needs) it is still the better product. We will tell you honestly if Online fits your business, and we will do the migration properly if it does.
Can you host QuickBooks Desktop for us?
Yes. We run hosted Windows environments for clients who want the file off a closet server. You keep your license; we run the server, the backups, and the monitoring.
Our accountant is in another city. Can they get in?
Yes. Multi-user access over a secure connection, or a hosted desktop they log into. No emailing the company file back and forth.
What is Cadence?
Cadence is monitoring software we built specifically for QuickBooks Desktop servers, because generic monitoring tools have no idea what a Database Server Manager is. Managed QuickBooks clients get it as part of the service; it is also available on its own.
