We see the same pattern in nearly every new client environment. A consumer-grade router from the ISP. A switch added five years later because the receptionist needed more ports. An access point bolted to a ceiling tile that's "the one upstairs doesn't work." No VLANs, no firewall rules beyond default, the guest network on the same subnet as the file server, and zero monitoring. It works, until it doesn't. Then nobody knows where the cables go.

24/7 monitoring and alerting
If your gateway goes down, we know before you do. If a switch is dropping packets, we know before your team starts complaining. If your ISP is blowing through their SLA, we have the data to make them honor it.
Why UniFi
UniFi is the right answer for the size of business we serve. It scales from a single coffee shop to a multi-site fleet operation. The hardware is reasonably priced, well-documented, and serviceable from the same console regardless of how many sites you add. We currently manage UniFi infrastructure across multiple Anchorage and Mat-Su sites. That said, if your environment requires Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, or another platform, we will work with what you have. We will not force a migration to UniFi just because it is what we like.
