Getting started · From hello to onboarded
Switching your IT sounds scary. Here's how painless it is.
The number-one reason businesses stay with a provider they've outgrown is the fear of switching. Here is the whole path, start to finish. No rip-and-replace, no downtime.
The five steps
From first call to carried.
The free IT Health Check
30 minutesA thirty-minute conversation about what you run and what has been bugging you. No slide deck, no checklist. You leave with a straight answer on what to fix first and what can wait, whether or not you hire us. This is also where you get a real per-device price, not a sight-unseen guess.
A proposal you can actually read
2–3 daysA clear, written proposal: the coverage tier, what is included, the monthly figure, and the onboarding plan. No 40-page contract full of carve-outs. If something is unclear, you talk to the person who wrote it, Orion.
Onboard, without the rip-and-replace
2–4 weeksWe take over the environment you already have and document it end to end, then deploy our monitoring and security stack alongside your normal work. No "we have to replace everything" upsell. Your team keeps working the whole time.
Stabilize and secure
First 30 daysWe fix what is broken or exposed, enforce MFA and encryption, and get patching and backups onto a tested schedule. The risky gaps close early, so you feel the difference in the first month.
Ongoing partnership
Every month afterAn IT department on call: helpdesk, on-site, monitoring, and quarterly planning reviews with a real person who knows your setup. The relationship, not just the tickets, is the product.
The questions everyone asks before switching
Will switching disrupt my business?
No. Onboarding runs in parallel with your normal operations. There is no day where everything stops. The whole point of "no rip-and-replace" is that your team keeps working while we take over behind the scenes.
What if I’m locked into my current provider?
Bring us the contract; we will tell you honestly where you stand and time the transition around it. We have handled plenty of handoffs from other shops, including the awkward ones.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
Managed agreements are 12 months, then month-to-month. You own your environment the whole time, and if you ever leave, you get a clean hand-off with no hostage-taking of passwords or data.
What does it cost to get started?
The Health Check is free. Standard onboarding has no setup fee. You start paying the agreed monthly figure once you are a managed client. No surprise transition invoice.
Step one is free and takes 30 minutes.
No commitment, no pressure. Just an honest look at where your IT stands and what it would take to carry it properly.
